ADL: student groups drove about 300 Oct. 7 anniversary protests across the U.S.

The Anti-Defamation League says its analysts tracked about 300 demonstrations across the United States around the third anniversary of October 7.

The ADL says students at more than 140 colleges and K-12 schools organized activity, and that student and youth groups drove much of it.

It says many protests included pro-terror rhetoric, Hamas and Hezbollah flags, and antisemitic symbols.

In New York City, the ADL says a large protest disrupted an October 7 memorial vigil held by a liberal Israeli group at Union Square.

The ADL also says turnout in some cities was smaller than in previous years.

These are the ADL’s findings and descriptions of the events.
