Word of the day: tzedek (TSEH-dek)

Hebrew – צֶדֶק.

Justice: not only punishing wrong, but setting things right.

The Torah doubles the word for emphasis: tzedek tzedek tirdof – justice, justice you shall pursue.

Example: “He didn’t just feel bad about the mistake; he pursued tzedek and fixed it.”
