Hebrew – מְנוּחָה.
Rest: the calm we are allowed to enter. Not only the absence of work – a settled quiet.
When the Psalms say “still waters,” the Hebrew is mei menuchot, waters of rest.
Example: “After the longest week, Friday night dinner felt like menuchah.”
Read the source: Psalms 23:2 on Sefaria.
